Where is your clothing made?
Our Emerson Fry pieces are made in the USA. Our India Collection pieces are made in India using heirloom printing and dye techniques.
PREORDERS
What is a preorder?
We offer small batch preorders of new items and EF customer favorites each week. We take orders in advance of production, which typically takes 4-6 weeks, depending on the item. Please see product pages for the estimated ship date for each item.
When will my card be charged for my order?
Payment for orders is charged at the time the order is placed.
Can I change or cancel a preorder?
We are happy to assist with size changes for preorder items, prior to receiving your order, if needed. Please contact EF customer service for assistance. Preorders can be cancelled for a full refund at any time prior to shipment by contacting us at info@emersonfry.com or 1-877-843-1202.
What if the size I ordered doesn’t fit?
No problem, we typically produce a small amount of extra units to facilitate size exchanges. Feel free to contact us at info@emersonfry.com for sizing assistance before placing your order, or you can order two sizes to try and return the one that doesn’t fit best for a refund.
Can I return my preorder item for a refund?
Yes, all preorder items are eligible for a full refund per our regular return policy. Items should be returned in unworn condition with tags attached within 15 days of receiving your order. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
SHIPPING
When will my order ship?
Unless otherwise noted, standard FedEx Ground orders ship within 1-3 business days of order placement date. Express orders placed before 12 noon ET ship the same day. Express orders placed after 12 noon ET ship the next business day.
How long does shipping take?
Ground shipping transit time is 1-5 business days from our warehouse in NH.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally via FedEx Express International Economy or Priority service. Shipping costs vary by location. Please note that shipping costs paid to Emerson Fry do not include duties and taxes, which are invoiced separately by FedEx at the time of delivery. If you would like a duties and taxes estimate before placing your order, please contact us at info@emersonfry.com.
RETURNS
What is your return policy?
We accept returns for refund of items in new, unworn condition with tags attached within 15 days of receiving your order.
How do I return my order?
Simply return your item(s) in the original packaging using the prepaid FedEx shipping label included with your order (for domestic U.S. orders only). For international orders, please send your return using the shipping carrier of your choice. Please also include the Packing Slip/completed Returns Form in the package. Your original form of payment will be refunded for the purchase price of the item(s) within 5-7 business days of your return's arrival at our warehouse.
Do I need a return authorization?
No return authorization is needed for items to be returned per our return policy above.
Are preorders eligible for returns/refunds?
Yes, our standard return policy applies to all preorder items.
I misplaced my return shipping label, how do I send back my return?
Please email info@emersonfry.com to request a new return label (domestic U.S. orders only).
What if I need to return from outside the U.S.?

When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 1-3 days of your return’s arrival at our warehouse. You will receive a refund confirmation email once processed.
EXCHANGES
I received my order and need a different size or item, how do I exchange?
Exchange orders are processed as new, separate orders with free shipping. Please return your original item(s) for a refund, and visit emersonfry.com to order your replacement. When submitting your replacement order, please place the note “EXCHANGE” with your original order number to receive a shipping refund.
What if the item/size I need is sold out?
Please return your original item(s) for a refund, and sign up on the product page for your desired item/size to be notified when the item is back in stock. Once receiving the notification, you can place your exchange order directly through the website (please put in the notes that it is an exchange order and we will refund the shipping charge).
Alternatively, you can contact us at info@emersonfry.com to set up a backorder to reserve the next item in your size that comes into stock for you and have it shipped as soon as available. We will just need your billing info again (card number, expiration date, sec code) and to confirm your shipping address. Your card would not be charged until the order ships.
